CanCan Animation

Due to the style and simplicity of the animation I believe it relates to my current brief –“A Conversation” and module lectures given, in terms of digital natives and the availability and diversity of technology. I thought it is a fun little example of how a low to no budget can be used in the modern day to create animation. Further to this I found the video through a Facebook page named “The best of Tumblr” so this demonstrates also the spread of information through social media. Further to this I feel it demonstrates how limitations can be worked around to create a piece of interest and as shown here comedic entertainment using parody. The example of working around limitations is shown through the use of Flipnote Studio on Nintendo DS, as this software has limited function in terms of its colour palette and therefore how you fill an object. You can choose from either a solid colour or a pattern and is limited in terms of how you fill an object due to the colour palette limitations which makes gradients very difficult to represent.
