Glossary 2.0

Below I have continued my documentation of words I come across and aren't familiar with as a way to familiarise myself with the terminology.

Aberration – Departure from the normal. Unwelcome appearance of such.

Anecdotal – wrapped around a story, told within story form.

Aleatory – Random.

Aphorism – A general truth presented in an expressive/tongue-in-cheek way.

De-established – Having been abolished.

Eurhythmy – Physical movement possibly set to a harmonious piece of music.

Aforementioned - Something of which has been mentioned previously.

Foregone - something of which has passed, i.e that time is foregone.
This word can however be used in sentences such as the verdict was foregone, meaning the result was clear before being presented.

Ludic – theory of games, playfulness without aim, Game-like.

Prosaic – Mundane, ordinary.

Pedagogy – method of teaching.

Procedural – relating to a process

Rhetoric – persuasive speaking and/or writing. A device used to persuade someone to a certain understanding and viewpoint.

Veritable - to place emphasis upon something, usually of a metaphorical nature.
