I had previously attended a few of Spencer's Code Club workshops as an extra curricular activity and had found these interesting. After seeing this as one of the option on the workshop sheet I chose to attend this and at first found it a little slow, with the exception of needing to be reminded of certain code commands. However once we started to experiment with combing the visual commands with audio I enjoyed the session and would like to experiment with such in the future. This workshop uses similar principles to that which I helped co-create within the CollabHub meeting though for a different purpose. The purpose of this workshop was to learn something new with code for those of all skill levels and to have fun with it.
The above video is of my first coded program in which the shapes move with the mouse and vibrate to the beat of the sound, in this case a Hi-Hat.
In the below video I took this base code and worked it as instructed to move with a jpeg sequence.

Although seeming to move to the velocity of the beat, upon asking Dyer whether this is the case he said it becomes more complicated when telling it to do such and would require a much longer workshop to explain. Therefore as it is, it is simply mimicking the pattern of the beats and reflecting such through the pulses rather then accurately presenting the scale of the sound.
